Abstract
Examines the various criteria relating to the traditional measurement of microwave absorbing materials. The testing of radar absorbing material is often carried out by using the arch configuration. This is a free-space reflectivity measurement where the sample is interrogated by a pair of horns operating in bistatic mode. Absorber samples of different sizes are compared with identically-sized flat metal plates with regards to their reflectivity. The results of this work are discussed
