Abstract
A design tool based on existing techniques for broadbanding distributed couplers has been developed for application using lumped elements. The procedure enables the design of multisection and tandem couplers of specifiable bandwidth and ripple. Computer simulation demonstrates that technique produces a lumped element coupler performance which closely resembles that of the distributed prototype.<>
