Abstract
This paper investigates the integral input-to-state stability property of passive nonlinear systems. We show that under mild assumptions, a passive nonlinear system which is globally asymptotically stable is also integral input-to-state stable. We illustrate the result by proving the integral input-to- state stability of the drive-train of a wind turbine with quadratic torque control.
