Abstract
Trust and the trustworthiness of participants in on-line commerce are critical to successful transactions. U-commerce is an extension to e-commerce that offers the possibility of a richer data environment in which to assess trust. This paper contrasts e-commerce and u-commerce from the perspective of trust and considers the possible role of case-based reasoning in learning trust.
