Abstract
The automation of special service testing has been accomplished by embedding a rule-based expert system into SARTS (switched access remote test system), the operations system used for manual testing of special service circuits. A companion product, the flow/through data manager, automates the movement of work between SARTS and the work management operating system. The automation process is described in detail
