Abstract
Public environmental awareness is extremely important on social environmental protection. In this study, through random sampling and relevant statistical analysis, Lin´an citizens were surveyed on their environmental awareness. As a result, education level and occupation type were screened out as two primary influencing factors. Based on this, three feasible measures were taken out. Meanwhile, this study is good to comprehensive understanding on nowadays small and mid-sized city residents´ environmental awareness and could provide theory basis and scientific guidelines for future policy formulation and implementation.
