Abstract
The future success of the personal communications service depends on its ability to accommodate the diverse multimedia traffic which will be generated from the numerous and diverse future applications and services. For doing so, algorithms capable of accommodating integrated traffic generated by diverse applications with different quality of service requirements are needed. In the present work we present some potential solutions based on the principles of the reservation random access
