  • Abstract
    The strong corrosive, low environmental protection and improper use of highway chloride snow-melting agent would result in transport infrastructure severe corrosion, reduce their service life and cause environmental hazards so that the economic and environmental losses are greater than snowmelt efficacy. So far, it is a difficult problem which has not been solved at home and abroad. Firstly, the paper systemically reviewed the updated research progress of corrosion and environmental hazards of highway chloride snow-melting agent internationally and nationally, which have reference meanings for reducing the transport infrastructure corrosion and environmental hazards caused by highway snow-melting agent in China. Secondly, testing and application technology of highway snow-melting agent are stated. On this basis, some key problems needed to be solved in the study of highway snow-melting agent are pointed out. Finally, the future development and research directions of highway snow-melting agent are discussed.
