Abstract
A differential correction interpolating scheme is developed which computes successive first differences between adjacent output samples. This scheme obtains a specified system performance using filter coefficients with a reduced number of bits and consequently accommodates multipliers with reduced accuracy. This technique is easily extended to higher-order difference corrections to achieve further bit reductions
