Development path and dynamic capability of EMS company in far east region

This paper seeks to understand electronics manufacturing service providing (EMS) company´s dynamic capability through the study of its development paths. We adopt case study as research methodology to understand company´s daily operations. The result shows that EMS companies develop themselves through continuously acquiring and utilizing resources to build up new capabilities. Thus dynamic capability plays a key role in EMS company´s growing up and development. The research delivers an exploratory view of the EMS company´s manufacturing system and contributes to empirical research of dynamic capability.
