Abstract

With the development of Internet, effective and steady routing protocol has become an important factor which ensures the network performance. And scientific researchers have been pay much attention to testing on routing protocol. Conformance test on IS-IS protocol is studied, which is one of the main IGPs (internal gateway protocol). Moreover, the adjacency state machine of the protocol is improved. And the IS-IS protocol abstract test suits are described in TTCN-3. The executable test cases of IS-IS protocol are given. Finally, conformance test on IS-IS protocol is implemented in the environment of Quagga-0.99.7 in Linux and the test results are analyzed.
