Abstract
A novel balanced modulator which uses a pulse-density-modulated sine wave as a carrier is presented. The use of oversampling improves the spectral performance for low-frequency signal processing, at the cost of extra logic in the carrier generation circuit. The circuit is suitable for operation in the audio range
