  • Abstract
In the shift control process of automatic mechanical transmission (AMT), the shift schedule is an important factor affecting vehicle fuel economy. To optimize fuel economy shift schedule, the engine load characteristics and vehicle fuel consumption formula were analyzed, and an optimal method of dynamic three-parameter fuel economy shift schedule was designed. The influence of vehicle mass change to the fuel economy shift schedule was researched, Simulation model of fuel economy shift schedule was established with MATLAB/Simulink,and the accelerating process was simulated. The simulated results have shown that this optimal method can improve the fuel economy performance of vehicle.
