Abstract
The authors describe the design and measured performance of three GaAs monolithic circuits for use in MMIC-based receivers. The first circuit is a cascadable L-band amplifier for use in an experimental satellite transponder. The second is an active power splitter intended for use in wideband image-rejection mixers, but with many other applications. The third component is an experimental folded transmission line coupler. All three circuits were realised on one 2×2 mm chip
