  • Abstract
This paper presents the implementation of the indirect space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) control method of a three-phase ac-ac matrix converter using TMS320LF2407A DSP. The control scheme calculates duty cycles in real time and generates corresponding logic level signals. The SVPWM signals for nine bi-directional switch module in a matrix converter are also generated in encoded form. The pulses are distributed to respective switches at each sampling interval with the help of a combinational logic implemented through a FPGA used for generating current commutation logic pulses. The SVPWM signals for a particular sampling interval and the encoded signals at each sampling period are shown.
