Abstract
This paper describes the modification of individual CdSe-CdS nanocrystals emission deposited at a controlled distance d from a gold semicontinous film. These colloidal quantum dots exhibit many promising optical properties and can be easily manipulated. Emission wavelength can be tuned between 450 and 600 nm through the control of the nanocrystals synthesis parameters. Finally, the results reveal great interest for quantum optics experiments. Single photon collection is made possible through an increased pulsed laser repetition rate, due to the reduction of the radiative lifetime.
