Abstract
Web Service Description Language and Universal, Discovery and Description Integration (UDDI) describe Web Services in a syntactical way and are helpful in their search, but they miss a semantic description of their specific conceptual domain. The search for services using solely a syntactical base may result in available services that donpsilat match the expected context, decreasing the accuracy of the search process. A methodology or approach based on the knowledge representation of each specific domain is clearly necessary for the improvement of the selection process. This work presents an approach based on CBR, Ontology and individual user profiles to improve services description and their search. Preliminary experiments showed that the results yielded using the proposed approach were efficient in the case studies conducted in a restricted domain.
