  • Abstract
The paper examines the use of ray theory in the prediction of both narrowband and wideband transmission characteristics. In particular, it highlights important factors to be considered in the development of a prediction tool for microcellular propagation such as the number of rays to consider in the evaluation of signal strength or delay spread, the terrain database requirements etc
