Abstract
This paper is concerned with the problem of stochastic stability for networked control systems with time delay and packet dropout by using time-varying sampling period method, where the successive packet-dropouts are driven by an identically independently distributed sequence. Based on Lyapunov approach, sufficient conditions for the stochastic stability of the networked control system are derived and stabilization controller is constructed in terms of linear matrix inequalities correspondingly. A simulation example is worked out to illustrate the effectiveness of our result.
