  • Abstract
    With rapid development of modern intelligent traffic management, the measuring speed radar becomes an important device. Using Doppler principle, speed can be measured by obtaining frequency deviation signal of moving target. Traditional measuring speed method uses analog filter whose measuring accuracy is low and measuring speed is slow, so it´s difficult to meet the requirements of modern intelligent traffic management. Signal processing of speed radar generally use power spectrum estimation method. This paper focuses on classical period spectral estimation and modern spectral estimation based on Burg algorithm. By comparing various algorithms in computational complexity and resolution, Burg algorithm was used to signal processing finally. Experimental and simulation results indicated that digital signal processing system would meet system requirements for measurement accuracy.
