Investigation of a terrestrial DAB single frequency network for Nordrhein-Westfalen

In cooperation with the Westdeutscher Rundfunk a DAB single frequency network operating in TV Channel 12 was planned for the coverage of Nordrhein-Westfalen. Field-strength calculations were carried out using the terrain information from a digital topographical data base. Not only waves propagating directly from the transmitter to the receiver were taken into account, but also different kinds of reflected waves in the real three-dimensional terrain
