Abstract
In this paper, using infrared spectra and the theory of excitons, the matrix element of interaction Hamiltonian taken between the initial state and the final state of the polymer chain system has been established and exciton absorption spectra in polymer chains excited by infrared multiphoton are studied. The electron motion, in polymers excited by infrared multiphoton, is accompanied by local deformation of the chain. For energy transfer of photosynthesising centres for chlorophyll biopolymer, in constant frequency intensity of infrared radiation, our calculation is in agreement with experimental measurement of the absorption spectra. It would be important to study the dynamic process of biopolymer by infrared radiation
