Abstract
Rules engine technology provides a good solution to manage dynamic business logic, but there are many problems existing in the uniform standard, interoperability, and remote accessibility in present business rules, so that it is difficult to be used in the distributed environment. In this paper, it proposed the design and implementation of DBRE (distributed business rule engine) by exploring the service-oriented business rules collaborative mechanisms, DBRE allows enterprise applications to access a rules engine service under the distributed environment in a unified way, in order to achieve an effective separation and execution of business rules in or between the organizations.
