Abstract
In this paper, we propose the novel method of improving efficiency of LOA. This method can be realized using the optimal current waveform. The current waveform satisfy the appropriate excitation force and the minimized copper loss. Accordingly, the current waveform can be easily shaped by usual inverter. The method was lead to the study of the electro-mechanical transduction model and the energy flow model. As an experimental result, efficiency was improved approximately 24%. Loss was reduced approximately 40%.
