Abstract
A fast and efficient FDTD method using a non-uniform mesh has been presented in this paper. By interpolating the magnetic field component between the fine mesh and coarse mesh, the computation accuracy can be improved by simple algorithm, and this algorithm is examined for a monopole antenna. By comparison with results of the EMF method and conventional FDTD analysis, we conclude that the proposed method is an effective tool for reducing the computing resources. Also a small error can be obtained even if the analysis space of fine mesh division is reduced
