Abstract
The method of minimization of an error of measurement of the difference of phases of microwave signals is considered, in which the transformation of signals downwards is carried out on frequency, and measurement of a difference of phases of the signals of intermediate frequency is made. The method allows one to remove errors caused by the un-identity of phase-frequency and amplitude-frequency characteristics of the parallel channels of a meter, at simultaneous expansion of a range of measured meanings of a difference of phases
