  • Abstract
This paper proposes a new method to locate and reform weak links for distribution network. Firstly, based on the total supply capability (TSC) theory under the N-1 security guideline, this paper recognizes weak links by analyzing branches, channels and channel groups. Then, two models of the reformation are established and solved through the sensitivity analysis. Finally, the paper discusses the weak links in an IEEE case. In summary, this paper proposes a new method for the distribution network reformation. The results can bring the links into full play in load transfer and bring a greater supply capacity for a whole region within limited links reformation.
