Abstract
In the literature we find two broad definitions of the concept of digital ecosystem, hence leading to confusion and ambiguity with regards to its semantic interpretation. In this paper we make use of ontology, which is a well-known tool for knowledge sharing, in order to present an integrative view of the concept of digital ecosystem. We implement the ontology by using Protege-owl.
