Abstract
This paper introduces the use of Gabor transforms to reflector antenna analysis, illustrating the topic with applications to the computation of field problems arising in the design of array-fed single and double reflector systems. The Gabor transform, and its discrete variant the Gabor series, have particularly attractive features since they exploit the localisation inherent in high-frequency fields scattered from large reflecting surfaces. Thus, a high-frequency field can be partitioned into regions which are essentially independent; each region can be modelled on a separate processor in a parallel cluster, with minimal inter-processor communication required for the calculation
