  • Abstract
    A method is summarised for modelling the electromagnetic coupling between components and the printed circuit board on which they are mounted. The combined field/circuit problem is reduced to an equivalent network problem, which may be solved by circuit analysis. The techniques have been incorporated in a CAD tool FASTERIX. Results demonstrate that the method is both numerically efficient and accurate up to several GHz
