  • Abstract
    This study presents an ultrafast Yb:KYW regenerative amplifier with combined gain spectra of the optical axes Nm and Np in a double-slab setup. A seed-source that consists of a Yb-doped fiber oscillator, fiber stretcher, and fiber amplifier is utilized in the experiment. Results show that at the maximum available combined pump power of 38 W and a repetition rate of 100 kHz, pulses with a maximum energy of 50 muJ in front of the compressor and a dechirped pulse duration of 207 fs can be achieved.
