  • Abstract
A time-frequency (TFD) approach is used for the recognition and analysis of ECG signals for a normal and an abnormal patient. In particular, an iterative deconvolution procedure is applied to calculate the required time-frequency representations for the two cases under study. The deconvolution method can be defined as the process of recovering the input to some system from its output given information about that particular system. This type of approach is used in the field of time-frequency analysis for enhancing the resolutions of the signals under test. These kinds of advantages are used for the case of ECG signals.
