  • Abstract
    Based on the movement model of a waterjet propelled craft, an autopilot control system with adjustable control parameters for a waterjet propelled craft is designed by fuzzy control and genetic algorithms. The normal fuzzy controller is improved by the modified factor and the correction, and uses genetic algorithms to optimize all parameters to get the global solution. The controller can on-line tune the fuzzy control rules and the parameters by self-learning in the actual control process, which possesses the way of thinking like human to make a decision. Simulation results show that the fuzzy autopilot control system has a good controlling effect, quick response, small static error and strong anti-interference capability
