Abstract
This paper sets out historical aspects and implementation constraints experienced in the Municipal Environment i.e. the City of Cape Town in the process of motivating and implementing energy efficiency intervention in the administration buildings used by the city in the process of service delivery to its citizens. A description of the programmes implemented is given and an indication of expected savings as well as some initial results are presented.
