Abstract
Wire conical monopole antennas on an arbitrarily conducting ground plane are analyzed using the method of moment (MoM). Three triangular basis functions are used to present the current on different configurations. Conical antennas respectively at a circular and square ground plane are calculated. Numerical results and comparisons show that the finite ground plane plays an important role in adjusting the impedance matching.
