Abstract
DDT is detected in many river and lake in Zhejiang Province. As a kind of POPs and priority controlled substances of China, it is necessary to study how to dechlorinate it and treat it. This thesis discusses the absorption of DDT by activated carbon fiber electrode and the final product. The experimental result shows that activated carbon fiber electrode enhances the rate of dechlorination of DDT via activated carbon fiber adsorption of DDT. DDT is dechlorinated into DDE in this activated carbon fiber electrode.
