Abstract
This paper presents a low sidelobe synthesis algorithm for arbitrary antenna arrays. The technique employs the adaptive procedure based on the work of C. A. Olen and R. T. Compton (IEEE Trans. Antennas Propagat., vol. 38, no.10, p.1666-76, 1990) and controls the virtual interference power by the square operation to reach the sidelobe level (SLL) specifications much faster.
