Abstract
This paper presents a few novel considerations on matrix amplifiers. It is shown that the sensitivity of device performances is not the same for each element of the amplifier. The active elements located on the diagonal path between input and output have more influences on the improvement of the gain and noise performances of the device. Also, it is shown that maximum gain of the device will be saturated by increasing the number of elements in each row and column. The proposed ideas can be used in implementation of the matrix amplifiers for MMIC applications.
