Abstract
In this paper, a low noise amplifier based on cascode feedback topology was proposed for 2.4 GHz wireless LAN application. The design was simulated with TSMC 0.18 design kit by using ADS software. The simulation result shows that the designed LNA achieves quite high quality. With 1.8 V power supply, the impedances of input and output arrive at rather matched value of 50 ohm. The gain reaches to 15.15 dB, with 0.62 dB of low noise figure, and the power consumption is as low as 7.9 mw.
