  • Abstract
    E-Commerce will not be complete without an Electronic Payment System (EPS). Many electronic payment systems, today are complex and difficult to implement and maintain. In this paper, we proposed an Efficient and Secure Card-based Payment System (ESCPS), an Account Based Digital Signature (ABDS) for consumer-oriented payment system. It is based on ANSI-X9.59-2006 with enhanced features. The ESCPS is designed with UML. In this project we conducted a performance testing on the proposed system by a comparison of SET and X9.59 in simulation. The results demonstrated that the proposed system performs generally better.
