Applications of a Novel Improved Grey Model for Forecasting Government Investments to Traffic Informationization Constructions

The trend of development of government investments to traffic informationization is a key which enterprises need to grasp accurately in the process of informationization construction. On the basis of the existing study results of GM(1,1) model, this paper proposes a combination method unifying the improved initial condition and the optimized background value of GM(1,1) model, constructs a new GM(1,1) model, and compares the original GM(1,1) model with the new GM(1,1) model in modelling precision through an example about the prediction of government traffic informationizing investments. The findings indicate the superiority of new GM(1,1) model in modelling precision.
