  • Abstract
    This paper presents an overview of the estimation of the constitutive parameters of an unknown wall using a new hybrid estimation technique. The Time Delay Only Estimation (TDE) technique in its basic form is unable to estimate the losses associated with the unknown wall. The Reflected Wave Ratio (RWR) technique is introduced and hybridized with the TDE technique in order to estimate the losses associated with the wall. Numerically simulated data is used to verify this hybrid TD-/RWR technique.
