Abstract
In this paper, through measuring oxygen and carbon isotope of planktonic foraminifera Globigerinoides ruber (White) shell in sediment from IODP site U1313 North Atlantic, and building fitting formula of lightness L* and CaCO3 content using ship measured data, we rebuilt the CaCO3 content and identified 26 glacial-interglacial cycles. Based on comprehensive analysis of the fluctuations of CaCO3 content, lightness L*, δ18O and δ13C indicators in the study section 115.48 ~ 69.43mcd (2420.88 ~ 1460.89 ka), the climate changes in North Atlantic are reconstructed and divided into three stages.
