  • Abstract
    The background is to build a simulation system for rock-fill dams based on service-oriented architecture (SOA) structure, Web Services technology and .NET platform. The principles of SOA are analyzed. It describes Web Services which is the implementation of the SOA. The key technologies of Web Services are also discussed. The modeling which is simulation system for rock-fill dams based on SOA structure is analyzed, and the process for layer design of simulation system is given, including the presentation layer, the appearance of the business layer, the business layer, data access layer and data layer, and so on. Finally, the actual works carry out case studies. A case shows that the simulation system of the rock-fill dam based on SOA is effective and feasible.
