Abstract
In this paper, the EMP coupling to thin lines is simulated using three-dimensional ADI-FDTD method. To simplify the modification of update equation near TF/SF connective boundary, the plane wave is introduced by defining a set of equivalent currents on a closed Huygen´s surface. The numerical results indicate that under the illumination of EMP wave, the peak value of induced current is not linear with the length of line. When the length of line reaches certain value the induced current can be found have a maximum peak value. With the electric field intensity of 50 kVm-1, the peak value of induced current can come to several ten amperes
