Abstract
Summary form only given. Nonlinear soliton solutions typically dithering at their wave breaking point form a non - analytic singular structure of the shape of a cusp. The first observation of such cusp structures in any numerical evolution study is reported here for the specific case of 1-D numerical simulations of dusty plasma system. The fact that these structures emerge spontaneously from a variety of large amplitude initial disturbances, testifies the stability and accessibility of such solutions. In the light of a recent experimental study by Lin I et al. (Phys Rev Letters 2010) on the process of wave breaking in a dusty plasma system, these observations are of considerable significance.
