  • Abstract
    A multimicrophone noise cancellation algorithm is described. The algorithm was adapted for use as a preprocessor to speech recognition device, with the aim of overcoming the extreme noise sensitivity of such devices, while still allowing a natural interaction with the recognition device that does not involve wearing or holding any special microphones. Test results on an actual recognizer are described
