Abstract
Summary form only given. An home made atmospheric pressure microwave plasma torch has been built. The plasma discharge has been generated at 2.45 GHz frequency for different powers with argon and helium gases for the different flow rates. Optical emission spectrum of microwave excited discharge will be provided. Besides that time and special evolution of the discharge were taken using an ICCD camera. The discharge electron temperature was determined by the Boltzmann plot method. Argon and helium optical emission lines were used.
