Abstract
In this essay, a microstrip bandstop Filter is proposed. Low insertion loss in the passband, high rejection level and integrated structure should be mentioned as advantages for this resonator. Good harmony between the results of full-wave simulation transmission line model and analytical results has been achieved. The filter structure is made of a perfect conductor on the top of a substrate (RT_DURROID_5880) with a comparative dielectric constant of 2.21 and a height of 20 mil, backed with a great conductor ground plan.
