Abstract
The authors introduce a TMS320C25 based universal DSP system which can work in three basic models. The system takes the advantages of common bus and multiport RAM technologies. The global memory, DMA (direct memory access), moving window addressing, mailbox shared memory, parallel processing, and cache technologies are used. Interprocessors (including the host) can share resources with each other when organized as multiprocessor or host-slave systems. The software developed to support this system is also introduced in this paper
